A year in review, my first year at exp (with actual numbers and results)

2021 was an incredible year for us at the Gluch Group. It was a hockey stick year. I’ve only had this one other time in my career. In this post, I’m going to share with you what caused these amazing hockey stick moments in my career. Before we dig in, below you can check out the two moments. One was when I joined Proctor coaching and the other was last year when I joined eXp.

The First Hockey Stick: I Joined Proctor Coaching

The first was joining Craig Proctor coaching. It was game changing. I got to interact with all these agents doing millions of dollars in deals and they were offering a blueprint. I saw what was possible. I started following these blueprints and things started to take off. I figure, why reinvent the wheel if you don’t have to. Craig and his team really changed my life. You can see it in the numbers above.

But then I hit a plateau…

You can see in the graph above that after Proctor’s coaching, my business soared. I thought this was going to go on forever. But then, I lost some momentum and things started to plateau. I wasn’t doing terribly, but my growth was slowing down. I started wondering what was going on and what the problem was. Thankfully, that was around the time a friend introduced me to eXp.

The Second Hockey Stick: Joining eXp

My first experience with eXp was this mastermind meetup I went to. You can check out some photos from the event below.

It was a great time and I met a lot of fantastic people. I learned a lot of great things from people who were crushing it way more than I was. So, I joined and things went great from there. Just check out the numbers.

Things blew up like crazy! Not only did we sell more houses, I made a bunch of passive income (thanks to revenue share), and we also opened our team in San Diego and I don’t even have a real estate license in San Diego. I’m able to run a team in San Diego without a real estate license because I’m with eXp. As long as you have a real estate license, somewhere, you can sell houses anywhere in the country, which is pretty incredible.

The Power of Masterminds

Masterminds are one of my favorite parts about eXp. eXp hosts a few big events each year, but with my group at eXp we also have weekly Monday masterminds like below.

One of the biggest benefits of eXp is all the information and resources. I’m able to learn from people more successful than me. They help push me, and I learn about the tools they’re using. I don’t have to reinvent the wheel. It’s thanks to these masterminds that I learned about HighNote and a new splits model that’s helping us scale. When you’re in a room with people better than you it gives you the opportunity and the chance to grow.

Revenue Share

One highlight of eXp is the revenue sharing. Last year eXp paid me $32,000 for houses other people sold. I’ll let the numbers do the talking. These are all from the people who I recruited. I didn’t have to do any of the work or sales myself.

eXp also gives you shares of stock. So, everytime you sell a certain amount you get shares. So here I had about 16,000 in free stock that eXp gave me. You can learn about what I missed out on by taking so long to join eXp here.

I’m always happy to help!

When joining a place like eXp, who you choose to be on your team matters. I’m happy to elaborate on any of my experiences. I’m happy to share the knowledge!
